Duke Raoul
Post-rock atmosphere and swathes of synth wrap around spiky post-punk fury.
A kind of sunny melancholy drenching fits of energy. Quietly optimistic songs of love, ambition and modern life played with punk vigour and a very real passion.
They’ve been played on Radio One (Huw Stephens) and Xfm (Jon Hillcock), enjoyed rave reviews from Drowned in Sound and Artrocker. The band have recently played sold out gigs with We Were Promised Jetpacks and Esben and The Witch as well as having previously supported acts such as The Futureheads and Victorian English Gentlemens Club.
Look out for the band’s ‘Club Raoul’ nights at much loved Brighton indie-haunt The Prince Albert.
Their debut single ‘Strange / Dead Echoes’ is out now, click here to order.
